From Sandy Borden:
I worked as Ken’s grad assistant for the Teaching Research Ethics program at the Poynter Center at Indiana University in the mid-1990s. He was smart, kind and funny. He exemplified interdisciplinarity at its best, and I learned a ton.
When I left Bloomington for a job in Michigan, he gave me a day planner as a parting gift. It’s looking pretty ratty, but I still use it every single day because it’s special to me. I have no plans to get another.
Sending much love to his family.
