I’m looking forward to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch via the form below; I will respond as quickly as I am able. Below the form you’ll find a bit about my career before TeachRCR Services.

Some background

I started working on practical and professional ethics when I was a graduate student at Indiana University-Bloomington and I was hired as a part-time Research Assistant in 1988 at the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions. When I received my Ph.D. in 1991 I was hired full time. My first large project was handling much of the logistics of creating the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE).

From 1993-2013, I directed the Teaching Research Ethics project (TRE), which offered an annual workshop for researchers from the sciences and other fields. In its twenty years, the workshops attracted 719 participants from 49 U.S. states and territories and 15 foreign countries representing 235 universities and other institutions.

In 2016, IU restructured the Poynter Center and the small staff lost our IU positions.

I will keep building and improving the TeachRCR Web site as time allows. Feel free to poke around and make suggestions in the Comment box, above.
