I recently received this email from Carolyn Broccardo, Ph.D., PMP, of Colorado State University, where she is the Responsible Conduct of Research Coordinator in the Research Integrity & Compliance Review Office. I am sharing this with Dr. Broccardo’s permission. – Ken
I want to let you know that the RePAIR Consensus Guidelines are now posted for public comment by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). This document is the output of a 20 member working group convened during the July, 2016 conference entitled Keeping the Pool Clean: Prevention and Management of Misconduct Related Retractions. I would like to thank those of you who contributed to this document, and especially Noémie Aubert Bonn for her assistance in writing and revising this document. Noémie and I will be presenting this work at the 5th World Conference on Research Integrity this May in Amsterdam – perhaps we will see some of you there! Please submit any comments to me by May 1, 2017.
