RCR Instruction Workshop, March 21-22, Chicago

Dear Colleague:

On behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Research Integrity (ORI), we are writing to assess your interest in sending one or more of your faculty or staff to a Responsible Conduct of Research Instruction Workshop (RCRIW).  The RCRIW will provide intensive training for novice and early-stage RCR instructors to enhance their ability to teach the fundamentals of research ethics to scientists at every stage of their career. We are contacting you because of your role in RCR at your institution.

ORI has partnered with the DePaul University for an RCR Instruction Workshop to be held in Chicago, IL, March 21-22, 2018. The workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, and end at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018. All participants will be responsible for their travel and lodging costs and a registration fee.

The RCR Instruction Workshop will be led by senior teachers and researchers in RCR instruction along with ORI staff.

If you are interested in attending the RCR Instruction Workshop, please contact Ms. Tracey Randolph (tracey.randolph@hhs.gov) by January 30, 2018. Space is limited.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Sincerely,

Scott J. Moore, Ph.D., J.D., C.F.E.
